A voltage boost circuit with a current of 3 amps using Lm2577

Welcome to this lesson in which we will learn how to make a voltage boosting circuit with a maximum current of 3 amps using the famous Lm2577 integrator that is used in boost converter circuits. We will use the Lm2577 in the AC voltage boosting circuit with some simple electronic components and They are widely available and you can get them easily from old electronic devices, but the Lm2577 IC is so few that it is found in voltage multiplier circuits and you can buy it here from Ali Express at a reasonable price.

How does the voltage boosting circuit work using the LM2577:

The AISI LM2577 is characterized by its high efficiency in raising and regulating the voltage, which may reach 80% or more depending on the temperature and the quality of cooling. The good thing about the LM2577 is that it gives a variable voltage with a fixed current, and there are other versions with a fixed voltage, such as 12V and 15V, and the voltage can be controlled via The change in the value of resistance R1 and R2 according to the following relationship:

Important note:

- You can compensate for this relationship by choosing the value of one resistance and calculating the value of the other resistance to make it easier, and here we chose R2 = 2K.

- It is necessary to use a fast stock diode that can handle at least 3 amps so that the voltage multiplier circuit can easily output 3A amps.
